[Roughly translated:] “And `ilm (knowledge) is an ocean without a shore, and Allah knows that indeed I am the most incapable among creation to mount it [`ilm], and travel peacefully on its pathways; especially the knowledge of the God with which Allah sent His prophets, and commanded us to learn it, teach it and act according to it.”
The author expresses his humbleness through these lines. He calls himself weak and incapable of grasping that special knowledge that has no boundaries. Even though he wrote this great book “Fiqh ul Quloob”. Where do we stand without any such book to our credit?
