Heart talks

Bismillah.

The preface ends with the best dua ever, made by Shaykh. It feels as if it comes directly from the heart. As if his heart is talking. Thus the title ‘Heart Talks’. :p

It feels as if this dua takes into consideration those things that we know but never express, even to our own selves.
Read the beautiful dua below and say ameen.

[Rough translation:] And we ask forgiveness from ‘Azza wa Jall (Allah) for everything with which the step slipped, or with which the pen strayed. And we ask forgiveness for those statements we made and didn’t get taufiq (strength) to act on them. And we ask forgiveness for every ‘ilm (knowledge) and deed which we intended to do for His Face (pleasure) then it got infiltrated by other stuff. And we ask forgiveness for every promise that we made to our own selves then we failed to fulfill it. And we ask forgiveness from the one Who is Pure for every blessing that He bestowed on us then we used it in sinful deeds. And we ask forgiveness for every thought that called us towards artificiality and pretense in front of people.
Indeed we ask forgiveness for all of the above because we are guilty of it often.
P.S. This is an excerpt from the dua at the end of the preface.
